Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter was an American actor who was famous due to her roles in films Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. The movie Piano has won several awards for her which included an Oscar. Her career in acting started in Broadway by performing in a range of Broadway as well as Off Broadway projects. Since her school days she played Helen Keller in a play in the fifth grade. Mumps led her to lose hearing in one her ears, but this was not enough to stop the actress from pursuing her dream. In college she studied theatre as well as later moving from Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania to New York City in pursuit of her goal. Hunter was able to make her Broadway debut due to an unplanned encounter with Beth Henley, a playwright. The two worked together on Broadway Crimes of the Heart. Her first role in film came when she moved from Los Angeles. Her career spans more than 30 years, and she's been featured in numerous TV shows or series, as well as films. Holly Hunter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was also awarded her the Women in Film Lucy Award.
